Goes well with this piece
This is a one-of-a-kind vintage Turkish kilim tapestry wall hanging in multicolor, handwoven from wool, measuring 3'3" x 4'4".
This vintage Turkish tapestry is created from wool and cotton kilim textiles, combining individually arranged woven sections into a distinctive patchwork composition. Different weaving structures and textile sections come together to create a richly textured wall piece while preserving the authentic character of the original vintage materials.
Displayed horizontally as shown in the listing photos, the tapestry measures 132 cm wide × 100 cm high (4'4" × 3'3"). Its balanced horizontal proportions make it suitable for display above a sofa, console, bed, bench, or as a standalone textile artwork on an open wall.
The patchwork construction gives each section its own texture and woven character, while the visible joining stitches form part of the handmade composition. The combination of wool and cotton provides a tactile surface with the natural variations expected from vintage woven textiles.
Each piece is individually assembled, making this a unique textile wall hanging rather than a mass-produced decorative item.
