Vintage Turkish Tapestry Rugs
A tapestry rug is a woven textile that works as a wall hanging as easily as it works as a floor accent. Every tapestry rug in this collection is made from an original vintage Turkish woven textile — kilim, patchwork and striped pieces in wool, hemp and cotton — and finished by hand for display. No two are alike: the stripes, patches, hand stitching and gentle wear you see in the photos are the actual piece you receive.
How to display a tapestry rug
Hang it from a wooden rod or with metal hanging clips, or lay it over a bench or the foot of a bed. Most of our tapestry rugs measure around 3 × 4 ft (about 90 × 120 cm), which suits a sofa wall, an entryway or a bedroom. The rod and clips shown in styled photos are not included.
